Individual and Couple Therapist
I hold a masters degree in psychology from Seattle University and a bachelors degree from University of Washingnton. My academic interest is in the process of forgiviness and it's healing powers. My other interests include the dynamics that creates trumoil in marriages and the toxic effects of internal negative dialogue on our self esteem and how we view and experience our world. I am currently in the process of becoming a Gottman Certified couple's counselor.
In my practice, I utilize different approaches including: Existential/Humanisitc psychology, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectcan Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Empowerment Counseling and Supportive Counseling to help draw from your own inner-strengths and resilliance in healing emotional distress, ultimately achieving self-actualization.
My treatments are client centered and my clients are encouraged to take an active part in developing a successful treatment plan.
